Sometimes Lenders need the flexibility to make multiple disbursements on a single loan. The loan needs to start from the first disbursement but still allow for future disbursements.  We call loans like these "Tranche". Each disbursement is essentially a tranche of the larger loan. 

You create tranche loans in the Admin section under Products.  Follow same procedures for creating a product: http://support.loancirrus.com/managing-products/creating-products

You will only see tranche options when the Maximum Tranche is greater than '1'

When you need to relax your tranche restrictions a bit so that there are no defined disbursements but just general ad hoc drawdowns. These are Credit Lines.
